Hillary Kerr, one of the co-founders of ?the West Coast-based site,Who What Wear, is an NYU Journalism alum (she also holds a degree from USC) and an expert on celebrity style. ELLE: What is your vorite smell?

HK: It&8217;s a tie between clean laundry and suntan oil.

ELLE: What do you consider the epitome of happiness?

HK: If I want quiet happiness, it&8217;s being poolside or on the beach somewhere sunny with a stack of books and magazines, good music, and someone to bring me snacks. My phone/email doesn&8217;t work in this scenario&8211;that&8217;s critical. If I want energized happiness, it&8217;s being with my BFF Kelly, ideally on a roadtrip somewhere random. We&8217;ve been friends since kindergarten and I have more fun with Kelly than I do with anyone else.

ELLE: How do you define luxury?

HK: Freedom. Time. Anything custom-made. A driver during NYFW&8230;

ELLE: What is the last dream you remember?

HK: I remember my dreams all the time! I just had the most vivid dream about taming an oversized tiger and getting to ride it down the street, of all things.

ELLE: Whats your vorite childhood memory?

HK: Family trips to Hawaii and going snorkeling at y with my parents. That and playing on the Slip &8216;n Slide with my friends in our backyard. Man, I loved that thing.

ELLE: Whats the Jessica Albalast book you read and loved?

HK: I&8217;m always reading multiple books simultaneously, so I have more than one! Recent loves include Tom Perrotta&8217;sThe Leftovers, Mindy Kaling&8217;sIs Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?, and Judith Kramtz&8217;s autobiographySex And Shopping, the latter of which came via a Twitter recommendation from The Fug Girls.

ELLE: Describe your homes aesthetic.

HK: Colorful Hollywood Regency meets eclectic vintage, accessorized with books galore.

ELLE: What are your vices?

HK: Expensive champagne and flirting with inappropriate men.
